Sundays at 9:30 am in person and virtually via live stream on YouTube.
At Kent Lutheran Church we value God’s love as a gift to be shared with everyone and that everyone is a child of God invited to be embraced by God. We gather every Sunday at 9:30 am to worship together, receive forgiveness together, celebrate communion together, and pray together.
Our worship services alternate between a Traditional style and an Informal style. Please refer to our calendar to find out which style will be used on any given Sunday.

Traditional Worship StyleThe traditional order of service found in the new ELCA hymnal, Evangelical Lutheran Worship, and is led by the Traditional Worship Team, and accompanied by organ. Worship includes scripture readings, prayers, Holy Communion, and messages for all ages (including children’s sermons). Special attention is given to church seasons and settings. Services include time-honored hymns accompanied by the vibrant sounds of the Kent Grand Organ (currently in the beginning of the last phase of construction).

Informal Worship StyleAn informal liturgical pattern that includes contemporary sacred music led by the Informal Worship Team with piano, instruments (when available) and voice. Worship includes scripture readings, prayers, Holy Communion, and messages for all ages (including children’s sermons) in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.
